In Greece, Energean operates Prinos, the country's sole hydrocarbon producing asset, located in the North Aegean Sea. The Company has significant exploration potential in the licences held in Western Greece, which provides the basis for future organic growth. Finally, we have made significant progress on the only carbon storage operation in the East Mediterranean. Prinos CO2 Storage has been approved as a “Project of Common Interest” by the EU, and has been awarded €150m funding by the Greek government.
