Exploration

Energean Israel has two exploration licences in Israel: Block 31 and Block 23. In 2022, during its growth drilling campaign, Energean made the Hermes discovery in the Drakon area (Block 31) and Hercules discovery (Block 23). In 2024, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure ratified both the Hermes and Hercules discoveries.
